EDPO participated in the Belgian Economic Mission to Japan – Dec. 2022
EDPO is thrilled to have been part of the Belgian Economic Mission to Japan with HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium last week – and what a crazy week it was!
We had the opportunity to catch up with some of our clients in Tokyo and to meet new partners. We also did some fantastic. networking with our fellow Belgian companies (250+ companies, 550+ people!) during the trip.
We attended numerous events organised by hub.brussels , AWEX (Wallonia.be/en) and FIT (FlandersTrade) in #Tokyo , #Osaka and #Kyoto, namely on EUMarket Access, the #LifeSciences industry, #WomenEntrepreneurship, Business & Human Rights and Finance.
Our founder Jane Murphy spoke to Japanese companies about the ins and outs of the GDPR’s « forgotten obligation » to appoint a GDPRRepresentative in the EU and the UK. She was also on the panel of the Women Entrepreneur Event organised in collaboration with the Startup Lady Association and hub.brussels. A great opportunity to discuss how we can work together globally to empower #WomenInBusiness.
