EuroCommerce is asking the EU to exempt AI-generated advertisements from new AI Act disclosure requirements where such content is not intended to mislead users, including product visuals and marketing images. [1]
Cookie banners remain under debate in the Digital Omnibus discussions, after the Council’s latest position paper reportedly removed plans to replace them with an automated signal. [2]
Estonia is considering a state-recognised digital identity for AI agents, intended to clarify when software acts on behalf of a person, company or institution, with defined rights and responsibility. [3]
The EDPB has launched a dedicated contact form for stakeholders to report possible inconsistencies in GDPR interpretation across Europe. [4] It has also updated its One-Stop-Shop case digest on the right to object and right to erasure. [6]
