CNIL releases online marketing action plan

After receiving various solicitations from the public as well as from online marketing sector professionals, the CNIL has elaborated an action plan for the year 2019-2020 in order to outline the applicable rules and to help stakeholders in their compliance process. The CNIL has received an important number of individual and collective complaints (La Quadrature du Net, Privacy International, NOYB) relating to online marketing. In 2018, 21% of the complaints were related to marketing in the broad sense. To read more: Click here
